How it's done
What our technicians do, what it requires, and how to tell you need it.
When a component genuinely needs swapping rather than repairing, we isolate whether the fault is the keyboard itself or the embedded controller on the motherboard first using a diagnostic key-matrix test, then replace only the keyboard assembly once that's confirmed, reusing your existing keycaps' layout so the replacement matches exactly.
Typical time: 30–45 minutes
Why waste time on aggregators? Get direct service without middleman markup with Xigox. Water spillage is the #1 reason for keyboard failure on Acer laptops in Dadar West. Even a small splash causes corrosion under the keycaps. Our technicians remove and clean the keyboard membrane, replace individual switches or the full deck. Keyboard replacements in Dadar West take 2–4 hours.
Each issue performed by Xigox in Dadar West comes with a comprehensive 90-day warranty covering parts and labour. Simply put, if the same issue recurs within 90 days, we redo it completely free. Xigox issues a printed warranty receipt every single time, so you know exactly what is covered.
