A printer that feeds paper but prints blank pages almost always means ink or toner isn't reaching the page — from empty cartridges to a clogged print head.
Inkjet Printers- Check ink levels and replace empty/low cartridges.
- Remove any protective tape/tab from a new cartridge.
- Run the head-cleaning cycle 2–3 times, then a nozzle check.
- After a refill, run a nozzle check to clear air in the lines.
- Remove the toner cartridge and check the sealing tape was pulled out.
- Rock the cartridge gently to redistribute toner; replace if faded.
- A failed transfer roller or drum can also cause blank output.
- Wrong paper size/type selected in the driver.
- Corrupt driver — reinstall it.
- On lasers, a fuser or laser-unit fault needs service.
If cleaning cycles and fresh consumables don't fix it, the print head (inkjet) may be permanently clogged or a laser part may have failed — a printer technician can clean or replace the affected part, often same-day with doorstep pickup.
