Your print job goes through but pages come out completely blank? This is different from "not printing at all" and has specific causes.
Inkjet Printers — Blank Pages1. Cartridge check: Remove cartridges, check for protective tape still on nozzles (common on new cartridges) 2. Print head cleaning: Run 2–3 cleaning cycles from printer software 3. Ink levels: Cartridge may show "ink remaining" but actually be empty or dried 4. Cartridge contacts: Clean gold contacts with isopropyl alcohol 5. Print head soak: For severely clogged heads, soak in warm distilled water for 30 minutes
Laser Printers — Blank Pages1. Toner cartridge: Remove, shake gently side-to-side, reinstall (redistributes toner) 2. Drum unit: Check if the drum is worn (visible scratches = replace) 3. Transfer roller: If charged incorrectly, toner won't transfer to paper 4. Fuser unit: If the fuser isn't heating, toner won't bond to paper
Driver IssuesWrong driver or corrupted spooler can send blank data. Delete and reinstall the printer in Windows Settings → Devices → Printers. Download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website.
